Charity they say begins at home. And this aphorism was demonstrated in practice as businessman and philanthropist Lucky Igbokwe popularly known as Don Lulu with the support of family and friends
donated relief materials to the Umuawa Alaocha community in Umuahia North, Abia State, to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professor Awa Madu, National Coordinator of donlulufoundation presented the food products to HRH, Eze Nnodimele Nwakanma, who was joined by HRH Eze Iheanyi Nwokenna and the President General of Umuawa Alaocha, High Chief Chukwuma Abraham.
Eze Nwakanma described the donor, Mr Igbokwe as a worthy and caring son. He thanked him for his unrelenting kindness to the community.
The food items include over 500 bags of 10kg rice which were distributed to the various compounds in the community.
Don Lulu urged everyone to continue to maintain a good level of hygiene in order to fight off the coronavirus pandemic.
